There's a lot of talk about rage/anger in the press right now. If we're feeling immersed, trapped, in a rage "miasma," I wonder if we'll actually soon be in the mood to go easy on the man-hate and even surrect the idea of man as knight, so that we have something strong/certain/singular in place to pull us on out? (Not that feminists don't uphold the idea that men are strong -- however anxious they depict men, I've seen many a male professor declare themselves feminist because they liked how women scholars made men seem such potent hegemons [Freud does much the same for the castrating father, too, which is why so many 20’s moderns went for his theories.])
